Lumix DMC-TS2 Digital Camera

So I'm looking around for a better point and shoot camera. The Sony just isn't producing the quality I'm looking for nor does it have the extra added comfort of knowing if I drop, bang or hit it against something hard, accidentally drop it in water (up to 33ft), take it out to the dusty wilderness (camping for me) or decide to visit the 14* Fahrenheit snow (yeah right... but I could) it'll work just fine. This is the 2nd version of the TS and it has a lot going for it. It has 14.1 mega-pixels, LED flash lighting, Smart Resolution, does HD video and... well here's a more in depth review of the specifications. Plus it comes in a variety of colors! Orange being my favorite.

I've decided to try this camera out because I worry about using my point and shoot digi on saltwater fishing boats. I worry about getting it wet, fishy, getting it knocked around, dropping it or losing it overboard. Same thing when I'm at the lake or river. Plus there's no way I'm taking my 7D. I will be waiting a few months just because I'd like to see the price come down a bit but this will be mine soon enough. Right now the average price is about $350-$400(USD) via Amazon.com. It is on my wish list if anyone loves me that much.  :)

San Diego in the morning.

This week has been super productive. Even though none of the 10 resume's I sent out have answered back I did a lot. I still haven't played any World of Warcraft since about mid January when it decided it didn't want to play for me any more. Yes, I know just reinstall and all will be fine but I'm liking the break for now. So it all started with Lady Borgia's photo shoot last Friday, then fishing on Monday, Tuesday the Zoo and the rest of the week with family. Then Fishing on Thursday (I caught a shark) and finished editing the Lady's pictures (check last entry). So here's a few shots from all that... well mostly the fishing and the zoo.

Wonderful view from Shelter Island Pier. Didn't catch anything but saw a wonderful sunrise then later on dolphins playing just a few hundred feet away. These were taken with my Sony DSC W220 (which is for sale, email me if interested).

Lady Borgia Photoshoot

Finally finished editing the pictures from my shoot with Kelly last week. These are a few of my favorite ones.

And please be sure to check out Lady Borgia's website as well as Temptress Fashion's in OB.
